Jessica Biel, 43, admits her ‘peak shape’ is ‘not maintainable’ without strict workouts

Jessica Biel admitted that even she has trouble maintaining her fit 5ft7in figure while demonstrating the lower body workout crafted by her fitness trainers Ashley Brown and Ben Bruno.

The 43-year-old Emmy nominee was responding to a fan who complimented how toned and taut her body looked while wearing the $1,190 white Proenza Schouler ‘Selena Twist Back Crepe’ dress in her new Prime Video series, The Better Sister.

‘Everyone is talking…about the white dress and how do we stay strong as we get older. Specifically, as women, how do we keep our back strong?’ Jessica – who boasts 19.3M social media followers – told TikTok last Thursday.

‘That peak shape in the show is not maintainable unless you are living the strictest, most rigid lifestyle with your nutrition and fitness, which I cannot do. I’m currently back on my plan to get a little bit back towards that shape.’

Biel proceeded to perform several sets of hip thrusts, Romanian deadlifts, hamstring curls, goblet step through lunges, cable med glute kickbacks, and kettlebell deadbugs in the gym.

‘I’m tired. My body’s not 20 years old anymore, you know? So I’m adjusting my workout to what I need to do,’ the Fatal Destination producer-narrator admitted.

‘You’ve got to build muscle. That’s a key part of my particular routine. And a ton of flexibility. I hope it wasn’t totally boring. Thanks for checking it out. Let’s get older and stronger together!’

And it’s clearly paid off for Jessica, whose husband Justin Timberlake told her that her ‘a** was poppin’ in her new asymmetrical patterned dress and leather jacket.

‘Look at you!’ the 44-year-old pop star gushed on Instagram Sunday.

‘Okay, uh-huh! With the jacket, hmm. Wow! Looks so good! It’s super cute. You look so cute. I’m going to make you wear that around [our Montana home] just like when we go to get gas and stuff. So cute! No, your a** is poppin.’

Biel reposted Justin’s video and wrote: ‘It’s always a good night when your husband says your a** is poppin’.’

On July 31, the married couple of 12 years will celebrate the fifth birthday of their son Phineas, and they’re also proud parents of 10-year-old son Silas.
