Jesinta Franklin and her husband Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin are expecting their third child together.
The 33-year-old AFL WAG announced the exciting news in an Instagram post on Tuesday morning.
In a candid video, Jesinta shared a silhouette of herself cradling her growing baby bump while her two children, daughter Tullulah, five, and son Rocky, four, played around her.
One clip also showed Rocky kissing his mum’s pregnant belly.
‘Tullulah & Rocky are getting a baby brother or sister for Christmas. The most beautiful surprise of all,’ the model captioned her post.

‘Our hearts are full and yet, we share this news with deep sensitivity. I know that announcements like this can be incredibly hard for those who are walking the path of infertility or loss. My heart is with you, always.’
Jesinta shares Tullulah and Rocky with her footy star husband, 38, and has previously admitted that motherhood was extremely difficult for her at first.
‘I actually feel like I’m finally starting to really enjoy motherhood. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy it before, or that I didn’t love my kids or they didn’t bring me so much joy and love,’ she explained to Stellar in 2022.
‘I just felt I was in the trenches for a good two years there. It was an intense period of my life. I was in such a grind.
‘I felt like I was in survival mode for a long time. Now, I can’t wait for them to wake… I miss them when they go for naps.’
Jesinta confessed that both she and Buddy have struggled to spend quality time together due to their duties as parents.
‘A lot of people don’t talk about how hard it is on your marriage having children,’ she said.
‘We really haven’t had much time just us two without the kids, but we’re a very tight-knit family.’

She continued: ‘It’s definitely not perfect. We try to focus on being a team and facing the challenges together,’ she said of herself and Buddy.
Jesinta also praised her husband for being a proactive and doting father.
‘Bud is so hands-on and supportive, and I really missed that when he was gone. I’m really lucky to have a partner who is such an amazing father,’ she said, referring when he was away for the footy season.
Jesinta married former Sydney Swans star Buddy in November, 2016.
He has since waved goodbye to his $10million Sydney Swans contract after a legendary career in AFL.
Jesinta said in August 2023 that her husband has now turned his focus to fatherhood after retiring from sports.
‘It was so sudden, so it’s just about family time basically. I’ve got a lot of work on so it’ll be daddy care,’ she told the Herald Sun at the time.
Jesinta recently sparked concern over a post revealing how much she struggled with some of the challenges of motherhood.
She shared a bathroom selfie to social media earlier this month which captured her looking tired and worn out as she gazed sadly at her phone.
She sported a long-sleeved grey t-shirt and pyjama pants and looked world’s away from her usual glamorous self.
Jesinta captioned the photo with some upsetting words: ‘Easily the most sleep deprived I’ve been since the kids were newborns’.
The Gold Coast-born model then revealed she was feeling overwhelmed by all her responsibilities.
‘Kids, sickness, emergency room visits with ear infections, huge work load, early starts, kids not sleeping,’ she wrote.
Jesinta continued: ‘Shout out to all the mummas showing up every day, look after yourselves. The juggle has been absolutely intense the last week.’
