Delta Goodrem has officially said ‘I do’ – and in the most romantic setting imaginable.
The Australian pop princess, 40, has married her longtime love and guitarist Matthew Copley in Malta, the same sun-drenched European country where the couple got engaged last year.
The wedding, which took place on Monday, according to New Idea, was an extravagant multi-day celebration attended by the couple’s nearest and dearest.
Among the guests were Delta’s mother Lea and brother Trent, as well as TV presenter Renee Bargh, former Nine journalist Airlie Walsh, and her best friend Danielle Cox.
The star-studded nuptials had reportedly been two years in the making, with guests receiving detailed schedules ahead of the big day.

Delta Goodrem has married her longtime partner Matthew Copley in a private ceremony

The Australian singer, 40, tied the knot on Monday in the same Mediterranean country where the couple got engaged last year
The Innocent Eyes hitmaker enjoyed her hen’s party in Sydney back on April 26, surrounded by close friends before jetting overseas for the lavish affair.
The singer recently wrapped up a series of exclusive shows in the UK to mark 20 years since her iconic Mistaken Identity album, but it wasn’t just her singing that had people talking.
Delta, who has remained private about her personal life, got engaged to Matthew, her guitarist and musical collaborator, in September 2023.
‘My best friend asked me to marry him,’ she giddily captioned the image, alongside a ring emoji.
Delta also shared footage of the precious moment to the social media platform.
In the clip, a quartet is seen playing in front of a lawn dusted with white rose petals.
Malta holds a particularly special place in Goodrem’s heart.
As the camera pans across a stunning vista, Delta shares a glimpse of her blinding engagement ring.

It is understood that they were introduced by mutual friends
Not only was it the setting for her romantic engagement to Copley, but it also boasts deep personal and professional ties for the singer.
In a video shared on YouTube in 2023, Delta opened up about her bond with the southern European nation.
She went on to reveal her Matt’s roots.
‘My partner’s family are all from Malta,’ she said, before adding that many of her longtime band members and backup singers also share Maltese heritage.
It is understood that they were introduced by mutual friends.
In a rare interview with HELLO! in November 2020, Delta described herself and Matthew as a ‘great team.’
‘When Matt and I work together, it’s really easy to go straight to the core of our feelings because we’re living and breathing life together all the time. It’s wonderful to work with him.’
The former Neighbours star has dated her fair share of famous faces, from Nick Jonas and Brian McFadden to tennis great Mark Philippoussis.
But a lot less is known about the singer’s current boyfriend Matthew Copley.
In 2018, she told InStyle Australia she’d made a ‘conscious decision’ to keep her love life private moving forward.
‘I made a [choice] that I’m not even going to comment “yes” or “no” … I’ve said nothing for three or four years,’ she stated.
As a result, Delta and Matt never appear on the red carpet together and the Born to Try hitmaker rarely goes into specifics about her relationship in interviews.
She finally broke her silence in February of this year in Australian Women’s Weekly, confessing, ‘He’s my guitarist, I met him through music’.
