Coronation Street star reveals she is expecting her first baby with sweet pregnancy post – after marrying long-term partner last autumn

Former Coronation Street star Melissa Johns has revealed she is expecting her first child.

The soap actress, 35, who played Imogen Pascoe until 2019, married long-term partner Dan Hampton in October 2024. 

And now she has revealed she is pregnant in a sweet post showing off her blossoming bump.

Sharing a snap of some cute baby booties and her scan on a sandy beach she captioned the post: ‘Oh Baby. We made a wish and it came true…

‘Baby H-J – we can’t wait to meet you. Forever grateful.’

In the clip the mirror showed them walking out onto the beach as she then turned around in her pretty red and pink dress to tenderly touch her bump.

Last October Melissa exchanged vows with partner Dan in a romantic Hertfordshire ceremony. 

Melissa – who was born with only one arm – stunned in a floor-length ivory lace gown which featured a meter-wide fishtail.

Taking to Instagram, the actress and many of her fellow acting friends shared moments from the beautiful occasion.

In one snap, which featured a couple of photographs from a professional shoot, Melissa confessed that her heart was ‘full’.

In the post, Dan looked dapper in a charcoal two-piece suit, a crisp white shirt and paisley-print tie.

She penned: ‘Good morning, We’re still in a bit of a bubble. It’s really quite lovely in here.

‘Think we’ll stay a little longer… And hopefully soon we will have the words to describe exactly what October 11th meant to us. 

‘Our hearts are the fullest they’ve ever been.’

Back in 2018, Melissa was devastated when intimate photos of her were leaked online and posted to a disability porn website which led to her being cruelly trolled

The loved-up post was liked by her co-star Bhavnia Limbachia, who attended the sweet nuptials.

Bhavnia played the character Rana Habeeb in the soap until 2019.

She wrote under the post: ‘Huge congratulations! What a beautiful day.’

She also shared a picture of herself at the joyous wedding. 

She wore a navy floor-length frock as she danced the night away.

In other snaps, Melissa could be seen enjoying some light-hearted fun as she posed with a denim jacket which had Mrs printed on the back.
