Ava Max transformed herself into a patriotic pin-up model for the racy music video for her new single Wet, Hot American Dream arriving just in time for the States’ July 4th Independence Day.
In it, the 31-year-old pop star paraded her petite 5ft1in figure in a red string bikini and matching high-heeled boots in front of a massive American flag.
Ava (born Amanda Koçi) whipped around her signature lopsided extensions in the wild clip filled with clichéd American summer tropes like pick-up trucks, playing with a garden hose, eating hot dogs, and licking watermelon.
Max – who’s frequently accused of being a derivative Lady Gaga lookalike – made sure to flash her underboob cleavage while swinging around a baseball bat in a dangerously-cropped jersey.
‘So, don’t, don’t be shy / Show me yours and I’ll show you mine,’ the Wisconsin-born daughter of Albanian immigrants sang.

‘Tell me all your dirty secrets (Uh-huh) / All your fantasies (Like me?) / I wanna be your blue jean, white tee, wet, hot American dream / I’m not like other cowgirls (Uh-huh) / Unless you want me to be.’
Ava’s suggestive lyrics also included: ‘Hit you up, Friday night / Pick up truck, baby, let’s drive / Nice and slow, take control / This ain’t my first time ridin’ at the rodeo.’
The gratuitous, lingering shots of Max’s body prompted X fan account @nicci_avamax to tweet: ‘She knew exactly what she was doing.’
The Wonderful World of Disney star is set to perform live during Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, which airs this Friday at 8pm ET on NBC.
The free concert featuring a firework spectacular over the Brooklyn Bridge will be hosted by Ariana DeBose and it will also feature Lenny Kravitz, Jonas Brothers, Trisha Yearwood, Keke Palmer, and Eric Church.
On August 22, Atlantic Records will release Ava’s third studio album Don’t Click Play featuring previously released singles Lovin Myself and Lost Your Faith.
Max will then kick off her 31-date Don’t Click Play Tour on September 3 at the Greek Theatre in LA.
‘I love it so much. I can’t wait for everybody to hear,’ the Whatever singer gushed to People on May 30.

‘I switched management, but I also took some time for myself,’ Max said of her transformation.
‘I started loving myself. I started working out more. I started taking time for myself. I didn’t feel like I had that time before or was allocating that me time.’
