Eight people are stabbed in knife rampage in Germany before woman is arrested

A woman has been arrested in Germany after eight people were left injured following a knife attack.
The incident occurred at Hamburg Central Station on Friday evening.
The Hamburg police reported a ‘major police operation’ on X.
‘There is currently a major police operation in #Hamburg on #Hauptbahnhof!
‘We are investigating the background and will provide further information here shortly,’ the force added.
Train service around the main station is currently suspended., according to local reports.
Norddeutscher Rundfunk, a Hamburg-based radio and broadcaster, reported at least 12 people were left injured in the attack.
It claimed three people were critically injured, three people were seriously injured and six were slightly injured, as per a fire department spokesperson.
