Thousands of NAB customers were scratching their heads after the mobile banking app was impacted by a major tech outage.
Customers were greeted with an apology notice after being left unable to log into their online banking shortly before 5pm on Thursday.
‘Internet banking isn’t working at the moment,’ the message read.
‘We’re sorry and are doing everything we can to get it back up and running.’
The outage has also impacted Westpac customers and NAB customers trying to withdraw cash from branches.
NAB customers were told phone lines were open but advised call wait times may be longer than usual.
Many Aussies took to social media to question whether they were alone in facing connectivity issues with the app.
