A Wyoming plastic surgeon left two women disfigured and in agony after botching their procedures – leaving one victim with a maggot-ridden ruptured breast and the other battling three rounds of sepsis, a lawsuit alleges.
Dr. Christopher Nicholas Stewart – along with several others associated with New Beautiful You in Casper – has been sued by traumatized former patients, Afton Jennings and Casi Duncan.
Jennings and Duncan say they have been left with blood-curdling complications and sustained irreversible bodily damage following operations and treatments carried out by Stewart – who has since fled Wyoming for Montana.
Stewart also had his medical license revoked from Summit Medical Center, where he performed his surgeries, in May.
Both victims ‘suffered devastating outcomes, including infection, necrosis, permanent disfigurement and loss of bodily function,’ their lawyer Jack Edwards wrote in the complaint, which was filed on Sunday, according to the Cowboy State Daily.
Jennings’ gut-wrenching ordeal began in May 2023, when she first spoke with Stewart about getting a breast reduction.
At the end of July the same year, she underwent the surgery that was supposed to reduce her chronic back pain and improve her mobility.
Jennings claims after Stewart performed the operation, she was sent home without any aftercare instructions.

This left her ‘with the impression that everything was fine,’ according to the suit.
But this was far from the case, as she soon became extremely ill – experiencing uncomfortably swollen and discolored breasts, high fevers, and vomiting – she says.
At a follow-up appointment about a week after the allegedly poorly performed procedure, Jennings expressed her grave concerns.
While the complaint states Stewart admitted he was ‘no impressed with the coloring,’ he sent her home without batting an eye.
Her condition worsened. Edwards wrote her breasts ached and one of her nipples started turning black.
Jennings, who has an autoimmune disorder called Hashimoto’s disease, had a consistent fever over 99 degrees – which is alarmingly high for her given her condition, the suit says.
She desperately dialed New Beautiful You, but Stewart was allegedly unavailable, and staff brushed off her fever as ‘low grade.’
Later that day, her left breast ruptured.

It oozed pus and fluids, and raw flesh was left exposed. But her fever and pain allegedly subsided after the fact.
Jennings’ called the doctor’s office again to alert them of the complication, and someone told her ‘it was normal to have drainage,’ according to the hard-to-read filing.
After pulling teeth to get another appointment with Stewart – and calling up the medical director, Shawn Snyder – she was finally called back to the office.
‘But by that time, her left nipple could not be salvaged. It was too late,’ her attorney wrote.
In mid-August 2023, a sickening odor was coming from her harden breast. Medical professionals allegedly suggested ‘maggot therapy,’ to get rid of the dead tissue.
Maggot therapy involves purposefully introducing the larvae to a wound to clean out dead tissue or bacteria.
She started the skin-crawling treatment about a week later.
The complaint features a stomach-churning photo of Jennings’ butchered breast with maggots crawling inside her wound. At work, they would allegedly fall onto her desk from her shirt.
While Stewart claimed this therapy was successful, Jennings says her breast is destroyed – with a scar where her nipple once was.
Duncan sought out Stewart for a ‘mommy makeover’ in 2022. She had just had twins via C-section.
Instead of achieving her dream figure, she was left with infections, bursting incisions on her breast, thigh and abdominal area, and gnarly scarring.

At the height of the chaos, she told nurse Joury Markowski, ‘I’d rather be dead.’
In February 2023, Stewart performed several surgeries on Duncan – who claims the doctor took surgical liberties and gave no instructions on how to tend to her wounds.
He allegedly ‘unilaterally added midline abdominal incisions without prior discussion or consent.’
Due to lack of after-procedure instruction, Duncan says she sustained a slew of complications.
By March 2023, she had returned to New Beautiful You with her right breast had split open. It was throbbing and spewing yellow pus, the filing reads.
Stewart drained it and pursued further treatment the next day.
Text messages between Duncan and Markowski reveal the concerned mother said her breast was ‘kind of just tearing open.’
Markowski allegedly told her to clean it and hold out until her appointment the next day.
In another harrowing instance, her abdominal incision busted open while she was at work – with blood and pus creating a gory scene at her office, the suit reads.
‘The event was both traumatic and deeply humiliating,’ Edwards wrote.

After rounds of antibiotics and meaningless back-and-forths with Markowski, she ultimately endured three bouts of sepsis, as well as urinary-tract and kidney infections, she claims.
When it was all said and done, Duncan claims her midsection and right right breast are utterly unrecognizable.
Both Duncan and Jennings are demanding damages for the horrors they have endured, the Cowboy State Daily reported.
Those listed in the suit include Stewart, Markowski, Snyder, New Beautiful You president Melissa Black and Vice-president John Roussalis.
New Beautiful You, Memorial Hospital of Converse County and Summit Medical Center are also named.
Stewart declined the Cowboy State Daily’s request for comment. Memorial Hospital of Converse County, which runs Summit, did not respond to their request.
