Monique Blackwell is celebrating her divorce from Nova radio star Tim Blackwell, getting the ultimate revenge with a new beau on her arm.
The entrepreneur and yoga instructor, who split from her former husband in December 2023 after 14 years of marriage, took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that she was throwing a party in Gadigal Country following the finalisation of her divorce.
‘Divorceeeeee parteeee,’ she captioned the post, alongside a lightning bolt emoji.
Monique, who shares three children with the radio star, added: ‘Living life full throttle.’
The Mond Women studio owner then went on to thank her ‘wonderful friends’ who were able to attend the shindig and who were ‘so beautiful in response’ to her speech on the big night.

‘And my ride or dies that supported me to live in a space of grace (instead of cray cray which I would really liked to have leaned into)’ she added.
She then apologised for not getting everyone in the photos but noted that the lack of pictures was a ‘sign of a good party’.
Monique ended the post: ‘Finally love to Perth and Melbs peeps – I’m coming home for you some champs.’
In the slew of photos, Monique could be seen looking stunning in a colourful, floor-length dress, flashing a smile as she celebrated with her nearest and dearest – with one nearer than the others.

She even gave a speech via microphone to commemorate the night.
News of Monique’s divorce party comes after her former husband Tim went public with his much younger girlfriend Lizzie Baxter in November – a year after he announced his divorce.
Tim, 43, and Lizzie, 28, who is 15 years his junior and a producer for Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa, couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they went red carpet official at the 2024 ARIA Awards.
Tim, who was hosting the annual music awards ceremony, officially confirmed their relationship to Daily Mail Australia and said Lizzie was his ‘date’.
The lovebirds are believed to have started dating after Tim’s marriage broke down.
In a flirty exchange on social media, Tim announced he was hosting the awards show and Lizzie asked in the comments if she could be his date for the evening.
‘Do you need a date by any chance? You’re hot,’ she wrote.
‘I’ll be working. Wouldn’t that be unprofessional?’ Blackwell responded, before quickly adding, ‘I’ll think about it…’

She teased in reply: ‘Hasn’t stopped you in the past.’
Lizzie works as a content producer for Fitzy and Wippa in the same Sydney office as Tim, who is one-third of the national drive show alongside Ricki-Lee Coulter and comedian Joel Creasey.
Since going public, the couple have packed on the PDA, sharing a number of loved-up images to Instagram while attending glamorous events and enjoying romantic getaways.
Monique broke the news of her and Tim’s split via Instagram on December 10, 2023.
‘Not all good things end, but this has,’ she captioned a gallery of photos of herself with Tim in happier times.
‘Thank you in advance for your messages of love, support and sadness at the news that Tim and I are no longer together.
‘Our babes are forever supported by Tim and I’s love for them. And our friendship is a source of strength for our family always, as we raise our children as best friends.’
The former couple share children Bo, 12, Alfie, nine, and Artie, six.

Tim, who co-hosts Nova FM’s number one national drive show Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel, remained silent on Instagram for over a week after his wife’s announcement.
He wouldn’t address his marriage split directly until September.
At that time, he opened up about his separation and co-parenting on his podcast, Introducing with Tim Blackwell, during a conversation with singer Missy Higgins.
In a gut-wrenching admission, Tim admitted he felt like a failure as a parent when his marriage to Monique ended – but stressed their story wasn’t over yet.
‘You think you failed … I clearly failed at the marriage, tick, but then you think you failed as a parent,’ he said.
Tim added: ‘You realise I’m still in it… Especially as co-parents.
‘We’re still in the relationship. It just looks different. I think we’re working harder on the relationship we don’t have anymore’.
Tim and Monique first met in 2002 after he moved to Perth to launch Nova 93.7’s drive show.

Tim took to Instagram to share a series of photos that showed him enjoying a romantic Thai vacation with his new lady love.
The pair were not afraid to pack on the PDA either, with one photo showing a bikini-clad Lizzie sitting on Tim’s lap as the couple sipped cocktails with their arms around each other.
Not everyone was enamoured with the photos however, with many fans slamming the radio host for being ‘insensitive’ to his ex-wife.
‘How’s Mon?’ one follower asked, before adding: ‘Show some respect.’
‘Too much show some respect to Monique,’ echoed another.
‘Geez, I hope your kids don’t follow your Insta,’ chastised a third.
It wasn’t all negativity, however, with many jumping in to defend Tim and Lizzie’s relationship.
‘They split up more than a year ago,’ came one reply. ‘How long should he wait?’
Another offered: ‘Wow! Some people are not happy…..your life to live.’
